RIP Alexander McQueen

Today, is a very sad day. Today we lost a fantastic designer, Alexander McQueen. His clothes, shoes and accessories shocked us this spring with his almost 12inch high heeled shoes which have appeared in Lady Gaga music videos and countless editorials.

I was in a free period at school when I got the text that he had passed. I was in shock! I told some of my friends about what had happened, and they had no clue who he was. When I got home looked up the cause of his death and to my surprise I found out that he might have committed suicide! In 2003, he was named designer of the year.

He will be greatly missed.
